Don't Miss The Smash Hit Musical With Sass

Making dancing, twirling and somersaulting in heels look easy since its first Broadway-bound bow in Chicago in 2012, Cindy Lauper and Harvey Fierstein's Kinky Boots musical has taken the world by storm with its message of acceptance, a cracking pop-filled score and a dizzying amount of fabulousness. Garnering six Tony and three Olivier awards following stints on the Great White Way and the West End, it now enjoys multiple engagements and local productions - like this one winging its way to you!

Kinky Boots' heartwarming story is based on the 2005 British film and follows protagonist Charlie Price, London-raised Northerner at a crossroads - he must either take up the reigns at his late father's ailing shoe factory or leave for London and pursue a career in real estate, which would mean the loss of many local jobs. Forging an unlikely alliance with a drag queen named Lola, Price decides to take an unorthodox approach and create women's boots for men.  Don't miss your chance to see drag and musical theater collide in a shower of feel good song and dance numbers and up-to-the-knee pleather!

No Winder it Won the 2013 Tony

We saw this in NYC about 7 weeks ago and were just blown away. The set design, dancing, music, and performance by principal actors were all exceptional. We are going with friends to see the road company version in San Diego in September, hoping it will be even half as spectacular as the Broadway performance. ... Read more
