Not only did the Wilson sisters lead the band, they wrote the songs and played the instruments too, making them the first women in rock history to do so.

Indie-folk-rock trailblazers Bright Eyes have revealed the massive news that they are returning in 2025 with their brand new tour. The Omaha group comprised of singer-songwriter Conor Oberst, producer and multi-instrumentalist Mike Mogis and pianist Nate Walcott have signed to Dead Oceans (home to Khruangbin, Phoebe Bridgers and Dirty Projectors among others).

Keb' Mo' is a three-time Grammy-winner who is referred to as the "living link" to the Delta Blues of the early 1930s which helped influence much of today's blues music. He keeps his sound contemporary with touches of soul and folksy storytelling. His acoustic-led, basic-to-basics style of blues has gained him many fans. As well as being an accomplished guitarist, Keb' Mo' also plays the banjo, harmonica, steel drums and keyboard.

Inherit The Wind at Clarence Brown Theatre

Inherit The Wind

Jerome Lawrence and Robert E. Lee's unforgettable play, Inherit The Wind, will take the stand at Goodman's Albert Theatre this fall. The writers based their work on the 1925 Scopes "Monkey" Trial, a fearsome battle of creationists and scientists. The Goodman's own Henry Godinez will direct, with Broadway star Alexander Gemignani as prosecutor Brady and Hollywood actor Harry Lennix as defense attorney Drummond. Since its debut in 1955, the show has won three Tony Awards and been adapted into four movies. A historical spectacle that must be seen to be believed!
